Meet Caroline

I’m Caroline D. Grimm, founder of River’s Edge CFO, and I’ve spent over 30 years working in nonprofit financial management. With hands-on experience as both a staff financial leader and consultant, I’m passionate about helping mission-driven organizations like yours build financial sustainability. From grant management and compliance to budgeting, financial reporting, capacity building, and board training, I’ll help you achieve the financial clarity and stability necessary to focus on your mission.

Living on a river in Western Maine, I see firsthand the importance of protecting natural resources, which fuels my passion for supporting nonprofits that combat climate change. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring local land trusts, traveling with my husband and our dog in our camper van, and hiking throughout Maine and beyond.
